Francesca Dugarte was born on August 4, 1989 in Caracas, Venezuela. She started her ballet studies when she was five years old at the Academia de Ballet La Lagunita and from 1999 until the present she has been a student of the Academia de Ballet Clásico de Cámara de Nina Novak where she participates as a principal in the academy’s performances. She has also been a principal and soloist in the Ballet Nacional Teresa Carreño. She has been attending summer ballet schools in Florida under the guidance on Tony Catanzaro and has participated in several national and international tours, performing both classical and modern works.

Her repertory includes pas de deux and variations of Copélia, Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Diana and Acteon, Paquita, Esmeralda, and Flames of Paris.

Some of the modern and contemporary choreographers who work with her are Edmund Novak, Nina Novak, Jiri Kilian, Willian Alcala, and Cristopher Flemming. She has been coached by talented teachers as Ruta Butviliene, Cristina Gallardo, Kirk Peterson, Tony Catanzaro, and Joanna Semenczuk.

  • Semi Finalist in the “X Moscow International Ballet Competition and Contest of Choreographer”. June 2005, Moscow, Russia.
  • Finalist and Winner of the “Encouragement Award” in the “2nd Seoul International Dance Competition”. September 2005, Seoul, Korea.

Ramon Thielen

Mr. Thielen was born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. He began his ballet studies at the Casa de la Cultura and continued in the Gustavo Franklin Ballet School in Caracas. He joined the Ballet Metropolitano de Caracas and later the Ballet Nuevo Mundo de Caracas under the artistic direction of Zhandra Rodriguez, where he was promoted to Principal dancer in 1991. In 1991 Mr. Thielen joined the Cleveland San Jose Ballet and received outstanding reviews for such roles as Apollo in Balanchine’s Apollo, and Raymond in Dennis Nahat’s movie Blue Suede Shoes.

In 1998 he was invited to join Dance Theater of Harlem and was promoted to principal dancer in 1999, becoming the first Hispanic man to become a principal dancer with that company. He has been featured in many principal roles in both the classical and contemporary repertoire including The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Swan Lake, Le Corsair, Don Quixote, Carmina Burana, Mysteries and Raptures, Manifestation, The Sphinx, Ecuas, Passion of the Blood, The San Luis Woman, The Four Temperaments, Serenade, and Concerto Barroco.

As a national and international guest artist he worked with the Broadway show A Good Few Men Dancing in New York City, and Los Gigantes de la Danza in Mexico, Ballet Rox, Victoria Ballet Theater, and SENSEDANCE. He has toured and performed in Venezuela, Colombia, Curacao, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Greece, Australia, Russia, and China.

The Nutcracker Prince

Eliezer Rabello was born and raised in Brazil, beginning his dance training with the dance masters in the State of Amazonas — Conceicao Souza, Marco Venicius, and Jorge Kenedy. Eliezar also trainied with well-known teachers in South America Olga Shimasaki (National Ballet of Peru), Raul Candal (Colon Theatre of Argentina), Jair Moraes (Ballet Guaira of Brazil), and other internationally renowned teachers Ivo Karaguiorguiev (National Ballet of Sophia), and Ronald E. Brown (Alvin Ailey Dance Theater).

As a professional in Brazil, Eliezer performed with Grupo Espaco de Danca do Amazonas (GEDAM), Cia. de Danca do SESC, and Corpo de Danca do Amazonas (the resident company of Amazonas Opera House). Mr. Rabello was invited by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Amazonas State to direct and teach at Bale de Camara do Palacio Rio Negro and Centro Cultural Claudio Santoro. In 1995 Eliezer founded Cia. Ballet da Barra, a dance school and company that performed Rabello's version of The Nutcracker for three years at the famous Amazon Opera House. He also received awards in important dance festivals in Brazil such as Festival de Danca do Mercosul in Bento Goncalves from 1995 to 1997 and IX Seminario Internacional de Danca Brasilia in 1999.

Here in the USA, Eliezer worked for five years with Lula Washington Dance Theater and has been a guest artist with other companies such as the American Repertory Dance Company, Ballet Folclorico do Brasil, Project 21, Kin Dance Co., and Ballet Collective. He recently finished filming a featured role in Ford Austin's shortcut picture Tiny Dancer (not yet released).

Eliezer is currently working as a ballet and modern dance teacher at the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance and at the Studio for Performing Arts in Malibu. This is third season with the Lake Arrowhead Classical Ballet Company.

For now, Eliezer has as his most important project “to build a solid marriage with my beloved and eternal friend,” his wife Danae.

Armando Neri

Señor Neri, a native of San Bernardino, California, is an accomplished artist in the dance form of Flamenco. He began his Flamenco studies at an early age with Eduardo Cansino (father of Rita Hayworth) and various members of the Cansino Family. He became a member of the Luisa Triana Dance Company and traveled throughout the United States and Canada as a featured dancer in that company. During the last several years, he has been associated with Lupe Del Rio, teacher/dancer in Hollywood, who for ten years was the lead female dancer for Jose Greco.

Luigi began his Flamenco training with Armando Neri at the age of thirteen. For several seasons, he appeared in the Mexican-American Pageant at Valley College of San Bernardino with Señor Neri’s company Los Flamencos. He continued his studies with Lupe Del Rio in Hollywood during which time he performed on the Walt Disney Channel. Other performances have been in the musical production of Luisa Fernanda with opera singer Hernan Pelayo at the Downey Opera House, and in the San Bernardino Civic Light Opera’s production of The Man of La Mancha as Jose. He has also appeared as a guest artist with Margo and her Dance Company.

Jeremiah has broad experience both on stage and in television, film, and video productions. His credits include the Lion King on Broadway, the Lion King National Tour, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Lula Washington Dance Theater, the California Dance Theater, the Santa Clarita Ballet, and the opera Tosca in Rome, Italy.

He has received numerous awards, including the Teen People “20 Teens that will change the world”, Spotlight 2000 – 1st place, NYC Dance Aliance 99 – 1st place, LA/Santa Monica Most Outstanding Student 2000, and NACCP-Actso 99 (Dance Division) – Bronze Medalist.

Jeremiah trained with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the San Francisco Ballet School, the Idyllwild Arts Academy, the Lula Washington Dance Theater, and the Dance Theater of Harlem.

He is a capable dancer in a wide variety of styles — classical ballet, modern (Horton & Dunham), jazz (funky & lyrical), West African, tap, and hip hop. Beyond this, he has skills in gymnastics and tumbling, as a choreographer, as a teacher, and in modeling.

Robson Tadeu is a dancer and actor from Amazonas Brazil. Mr. Tadeu began his training and performing with Grupo Independente de Teatro do Oprimido, GEDAM, Cia de Danca SESC/AM, Indios.com, Corpo de Danca do Amazonas, and Pombal Arte-Espaco Alternativo. Robson studied Ivo Karagueorguiev (National Ballet of Sophia), Ronald E. Brown (Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre) and other well known teachers in Brazil such as Liliane Benevento, Yoko Okada, and Ricardo Ordonez.

At present, Mr. Tadeu is on the staff of Secretaria de Cultura do Amazonas as Coordinator of the social project "A Cultura Ta na Rua" and Ballet Maitre of Bale Folclorico do Amazonas, where he also teaches and choreographs. Mr. Tadeu also founded his own company, Elenco Alternativo de Danca, and has been awarded with several important grants in the Brazilian cultural scene.

Here in California, Mr. Tadeu is taking class with Marat Daukayev, Reid Olson, Nader Hamed, Eliezer Rabello, and the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance. He is working as a dancer with Brockus Project Dance Company, Lions Pounce Productions, Ballet Collective LA, Bellytwins Productions, and Kemba Shannon Dance Center. He also teaches classical ballet in Jaga Dance Studio.

Tommy has been dancing since the age of 10 and has danced in such companies as the New York City Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, American Ballet Theater, and New Mexico Ballet. He started his dancing with the New Mexico Ballet Company under the direction of Patricia Dickinson. After two years he was moved to soloist and at the age of 14 he was accepted into the School of American Ballet. He spent the next four years training with SAB, and dancing with New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theater. After his graduation from SAB Tommy attended college and recently received his degree in Business of Finance and Merchandise Marketing. During that time he met Marat Dukayev, the prestigious Russian Kirov principal dancer, in Los Angeles and over the last year has become his protege.

In the upcoming year he has numerous competitions and performances all over the US, and is auditioning for the Royal Ballet of London, La Scala, Dutch National, and New York City Ballet for soloist contracts. His current repertoire includes: The Nutcracker (Snow King, Flowers Cavalier, Sugar Plum Cavalier, Nutcracker Prince), Balanchine's Serenade (male soloist), Balanchine's Tchaikovsky Pas De Deux, Swan Lake (Pas de Trois, Prince Siegfreid), and La Bayadere (Solor).
