Maggie Sievers – Clara Also: Snow, Waltz Maggie started dancing with Sharon McCormick just before she turned 3. She performed in the LACBC’s very first Nutcracker as a Young Guest. It has been her dream to someday be Clara. Being a dedicated and goal-oriented person has helped her turn that dream into a reality. Along the way, her roles have included Angel, Armed Guard, Harlequin, Lilac, Baker, Candy Cane, Chinese, Snow, and Waltz. Maggie has auditioned and been accepted by Joffrey, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Rock School, American Ballet Theater, and Pittsburg Ballet for their summer intensive programs. She has attended summer intensives at The Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and The San Francisco Ballet School. Maggie is 14 and a freshman at Rim High School. |

Beau Stebbings – Fritz Also: Soldier Beau began dance lessons with Sharon McCormick at the age of 7. He has performed in The Nutcracker for the past 5 years. It’s a family event — Beau is the fourth Stebbings brother to take a turn as Fritz, and the entire family is in the cast this year. |

Marge Jewell – Frau Stahlbaum Also: Narrator, Rehearsal Director Marge has been performing in The Nutcracker for the past twelve years, both in San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead. She received her dance training from Sharon McCormick, and has danced in productions of Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, La Boutique Fantasque, and La Fille Mal Gardee. Her favorite role is that of Clara and Fritz’s mother in The Nutcracker, which has become an important part of her Christmas season, as well as a family activity, involving her two daughters, Madeline and Stephanie. When she is not dancing, she is “Doctor Marge” — greatly loved as a pediatrician. |

Tom Zepko – Herr Stahlbaum Also: Music and Audio Production Tom became involved with the The Nutcracker as sound technician for the LACBC’s first full production back in 1994. Before the week’s performances were over, he was convinced that by the following year he wanted to be on stage as well. That wish was fulfilled, and he has been a member of the cast ever since. This year marks his first appearance in the role of Herr Stahlbaum. Tom is a software engineer by trade, with long experience in the aerospace industry. He now works at home, programming, building websites (including the ballet company site), and editing music for skaters, dancers, and other performers. |

James Ferranti – Herr Drosselmeyer Jim is an educator and dances for enjoyment. He has appeared in the Lake Arrowhead Classical Ballet Company’s production of The Nutcracker since the very beginning. This is his eighth year as Drosselmeyer. |

James Perry – Mouse King James is a financial advisor and a former naval aviator. He studied sabre at the Westside Fencing Center in Los Angeles under the direction of Michael D’Asaro. He has starred in numerous musicals and theatrical productions and was a soloist with the Naval Air Training Command Choir. He has also been a featured performer with the Rim Festival Chorus in Lake Arrowhead and appeared as Elvis in Eclectica ’97. This is his third appearance in the role of Mouse King. |
