Marge Jewell

Marge Jewell – Frau Stahlbaum, Narrator, Rehearsal Assistant

Marge has been performing in The Nutcracker for the past ten years, both in San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead. Marge has received her dance training from Sharon McCormick, and has danced in productions of Cinderella, Hansel and Gretel, La Boutique Fantasque, and La Fille Mal Gardee. Her favorite role is that of Clara and Fritz’s mother in The Nutcracker, which has become an important part of her Christmas season, as well as a family activity, involving her two daughters, Madeline and Stephanie. When she is not dancing, Marge is also known as Dr. Jewell, Lake Arrowhead’s pediatrician.

Ron Wogen

Ron Wogen – Dr. Stahlbaum

Ron began work with the Lake Arrowhead Ballet Company in its production of La Fille Mal Gardee. He later played the grandfather in Peter and the Wolf. Ron has played the role of Dr. Stahlbaum, Clara and Fritz’s father, in several of the past seasonal performances of The Nutcracker. Ron is a member of the contemporary Christian band “Shine”. He is an educator at Lake Arrowhead Elementary.

Courtney McCormick

Courtney McCormick – Clara, Snow, Waltz

Courtney began her ballet training at Lake Arrowhead School of Dance at the age of three under he direction of her mother, Sharon McCormick. Courtney has performed in The Nutcracker for the past 8 years in rolls of lilac, mouse, candy cane, baker, harlequin, waltz, snow, junior snow, Clara’s friend, Clara’s best friend, and young guest. She has been in the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance Spring performances from the age of three. She attended the 2001 Joffrey Summer Program under a partial scholarship. Courtney is an "A" student. She is honored to be performing this year with her sister, guest artist, Alwyn McCormick.

Wesley Stebbings

Wesley Stebbings – Fritz

Wesley is nine years old and in the 4th grade. He enjoys dance and music. He began dance lessons at Lake Arrowhead School of Dance at age seven. He began dancing in The Nutcracker when he was five. This year he is honored to play the part of Fritz and soldier.

James Ferranti

James Ferranti – Drosselmeyer

Jim is an educator and dances for enjoyment. He has appeared in the Lake Arrowhead Classical Ballet Company’s production of The Nutcracker since the very beginning. This is his seventh year as Drosselmeyer.
