Donor Support

The Lake Arrowhead Classical Ballet Company relies on the generosity of volunteers and private donors to support its activities. Many members of our community in and around Lake Arrowhead have contributed their time, talents, and financial support to make the Company possible.

Your contribution will play an important role in the economic and artistic growth of our community and will help to continue to provide our children with the discipline of dance and the gratification of accomplishment.

Halloween Party Fundraising Event

This is an annual event, held at the end of October. It is an event for the whole family, with fun activities for all ages. It serves as the major fund-raiser for each season’s production of The Nutcracker.

This year’s event is at the Burnt Mill Beach Club in Lake Arrowhead on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Go to the Calendar page for more info.

Scrip

Through the generosity of our two local markets, Jensens and Stater Bros., there is another way you can help support the ballet company — and there’s no cost to you. All you have to do is buy a pre-paid scrip card for the store of your choice. You get full value on your grocery store purchases and the ballet company earns 6%.

You can purchase scrip cards in $50, $100, or $250 denominations at the Studio Boutique or at the Dance Studio. Each time you shop you’ll swipe the card and deduct the exact amount of your purchases from the remaining value of the card. Your receipt will show how much is left. When the value of the card is running low, come back and purchase another so you will always have a card available.

Jensens and Stater Bros. have set up their scrip programs as a way make a generous contribution to the community in which they do business. But they’ve left it up to us to determine how that generosity is distributed. LACBC’s benefit will be proportional to our enthusiasm for participating.

You have to eat anyway, so make your grocery purchases count toward something more. This is a great way to support the LACBC with a minimum of effort and no extra cost on your part.
